It鈥檚 that time of year again: The is now open! And 网曝黑料 wants to see as many Ohio bands entering as we possibly can.
Every year, NPR Music鈥檚 Tiny Desk Contest accepts thousands of entries from musicians around the country, all vying for the opportunity to play a Tiny Desk concert at NPR headquarters in Washington, D.C., and tour the United States.
There are a just a few rules:
- You must be 18 years or older, and unsigned to a label. ( if you are eligible to enter.)
- You must film a video performing an original song.
- You must perform that song at a desk 鈥� any desk.
- Upload your video to YouTube, and submit your entry to the
The contest is open through April 14. One national winner will be chosen by NPR鈥檚 panel of judges. But we鈥檙e creating an extra incentive for Central Ohio musicians to enter the contest. Once again, 网曝黑料 is picking its favorite Columbus-area band from among all the Tiny Desk submissions.
网曝黑料鈥檚 local favorite, as chosen by our own group of judges, will be invited to perform their submitted song as part of our televised , interviewed during 网曝黑料鈥� All Things Considered program, profiled on the 网曝黑料 website, and more!
Last year, 网曝黑料 audiences picked as their favorite. We鈥檙e excited to see what great bands and musicians step forward this year. So what are you waiting for?
